我的2024：越忙越有戏 My 2024: Busy and Fruitful

一年比一年忙，无论从客观还是主观都是事实。越来越多的朋友跟我说，得做减法了。实际上谈何容易，事情总是好像会越来越多，把人卷进那漩涡里不能自拔。正因此，年终需要写一篇对这一年的回顾，看看其中哪些可以做做减法。

It's true that every year gets busier and busier. Many of my friends are telling me that it's time to reduce workload. However it's not easy. There always seem to get more and more works to be involved, and get swept up in that vortex and can't get out of it. It is for this reason that I need to write a review on this year to see what could have been done to subtract from it.

1月底2月初很开心，因为在希腊见了很多好朋友，做了很多好玩的事，看了很多好看的戏剧。

The end of January and beginning of February was great because I got to see a lot of friends in Greece, and watched a lot of good theatre performances.

2月底回到学校，回到课堂。这一年也是艺术组成长发展的一年。我们为学校的艺术教育定下基调：重视课堂，重视质量。如果对学校艺术课程质量的评价只凭社团参加了多少比赛拿了多少奖来衡量，那是艺术教育的失败。艺术教育应当是让所有孩子受益，为所有孩子的成长助力。

Back to school in the end of February. It was a year of development for the arts education team. We set the focus for art education in the school on the learning and teaching in classroom. If the quality of a school's arts education is evaluated only on the basis of the number of prizes won by the art clubs in competitions, it should be a failure of art education. Arts education should benefit all children and contribute to the growth of all children.

这学期也对艺术社团进行了规范化，所有社团都进行了公开报名和面试选拔，让所有有兴趣有潜力的孩子都有机会加入到自己心仪的专修课程学习和创作。

This semester had also seen the standardisation of art clubs, with open enrolment and audition selection for all clubs, so that all children with interest and potential had the opportunity to join their preferred specialised course of study.

中学部的戏剧课继续以戏剧校队的形式进行，在师资不足等多方面因素影响之下，目前中学部还只能按这样开课，未来期待同样可以开设必修课。经过两年的努力，中学部校队的实力已初见成效。

Drama classes in the Secondary Section continue to be conducted in the form of theatre groups. Due to a number of factors, such as a shortage of teachers, the Secondary Section can only offer classes in this way for the time being, and it is expected that the compulsory class will be offered in the future. After two years of hard work, the students’ theatre groups in secondary section has been developed.

艺术团队建设也是我的工作重点，从最初7人到如今17人，艺术组越来越庞大，而我的团队建设目标就是每个人都是精兵强将，独当一面。所以除了校内定期的教研，我也带团队外出与其他机构组织联合教研与合作，吸取他人的长处。

The development of art education team is also a key focus of my work. From the 7 members in the beginning to the current 17 members, the art education team is getting bigger and bigger, and my team building goal is that everyone is a strong and capable member. Therefore, in addition to regular teaching and research within the school, I also take the team out to organise joint research and collaboration with other organisations, so as to learn from others.

这一年国际联系也更多了。2月初在雅典举办了讲座，3月初受Spirogopoulos教授邀请为爱琴海大学的研究生们远程上课。

There have been more international exchanges this year, for example a lecture in Athens at the beginning of February, and an invitation by Prof Spiropoulos to give a distance learning course to postgraduate students at the University of the Aegean at the beginning of March.

3月中我开始了本学期在成都文理学院的课。我为小学教育系开设了教育戏剧专业课，虽然周日需要驱车一个多小时到金堂去上课，但是我相信这是值得的，尤其是放在戏剧教育在国内发展的全局下，这正是戏剧教育师资和戏剧教育普及的重要途径。

In mid-March I began my classes for the semester at Chengdu College of Arts and Sciences. I have a major course in Drama in Education for the Primary Education Department, and although I have to drive more than an hour to Jintang County on Sundays to teach, I believe that it is worth it, especially in the context of the overall development of drama education in China, which is an important way for drama education teachers and the popularisation of drama education.

除了成都文理学院，我还受邀在成都大学中国-东盟艺术学院为留学生开设《跨文化戏剧》课程。我的硕士毕业论文和毕业大戏就是关于跨文化戏剧，在为我们小学生设计的戏剧课程里同样融入了跨文化内容。因此，这门课也是我相当感兴趣的，于是选择了中国经典故事《南柯一梦》为素材设计课程。

In addition to the Chengdu College of Arts and Sciences, I was invited to teach a course on Intercultural Theatre to international students at the College of China-ASEAN Arts at Chengdu University. My master's thesis and graduation play were about intercultural theatre, and the same intercultural content was incorporated in the theatre course designed for our primary school students. Therefore, this course was also of considerable interest to me, and I chose the classic Chinese story ‘A Dream of Nanke’ as the material for the course.

3月底，在上学期戏剧家长学堂的基础上，天七戏剧家长社群正式成立。我们和A4美术馆合作共同支持社群，并将社群交由家长们自主管理和运营。这也是我们在戏剧教育方面的新尝试，谁说家长们就不能拥抱戏剧教育呢。

At the end of March, the Drama Parents‘ Community of Tianfu No.7 High School was launched. We partnered with A4 Gallery to support the community and left it to the parents to manage and run it on their own. This is our new attempt at drama education, and who says parents can't embrace drama education.

4月初，高一年级开始筹备戏剧节，邀请我去为他们指导。特别开心看到高中部也自主地发起戏剧教育项目，我当然必须全心全意支持。

At the beginning of April, the High Section of Tianfu No.7 High School started to prepare for the Theatre Festival and invited me to coach them. I was especially happy to see that the High Section also initiated a drama education project on its own, and of course I had to support it wholeheartedly.

在戏剧节上，高一年级邀请我担任评委，观看了八个剧目，孩子们在戏剧里的专注和热情让我动容。

At the Theatre Festival, I was invited by the the First Grade of High Section to be a judge for eight plays and was moved by the children's focus and enthusiasm in the plays.

后来，高二年级的戏剧节也邀请了我担任评委，这让我对戏剧在高中生根发芽有了更强的信心。

Later, I was invited to be a judge for the theatre festival of the Second Grade of High Section, which gave me even more confidence that theatre was taking root in high school.

4月进入到戏剧节筹备的时节，经过报名和面试，这一届戏剧节组委会有了小策划人的加入。

April enters the season of preparation for our own theatre festival - Zhiren Theatre Festival, and after applications and interviews, the festival's organising committee welcomed the little curators on board.

这个月还有一件大事，那就是浙江省三所乡村学校的老师们来到天府七中戏剧组，跟岗学习三天。这是我们第一次将戏剧课堂完全开放给外来的老师们，也是出于与致朴公益基金会相互的信任而促成。我们并且没有特地去做安排，而是让来访的老师们全程感受我们每天正常的课堂和工作。老师们感叹每天都很充实，每天都很忙，而这就是我们的日常。

Another big event this month was the arrival of teachers from three rural schools in Zhejiang Province for a three-day study tour with the drama team from Tianfu No.7 High School. This was the first time we opened up our drama classroom to the visiting teachers, and it was made possible by our mutual trust with the Zhipu Foundation. We didn't make any special arrangements, but let the visiting teachers experience our normal classroom and work every day. The teachers commented that every day was extremely full and every day was busy. In fact this is our daily routine.

这个月另一件大事，是我和袁老师一起受邀参加南京戏剧与教育应用大会，她在大会上上一堂戏剧公开课，而我为老师们做《以教育戏剧为基础的中小学戏剧课程》的演讲。过去三年里我们在学校里埋头苦干，此时我们更需要走出去与更多同道交流。

Another big event this month is that Eley Yuan and I were invited to attend the Nanjing Drama and Education Application Conference together, where she gave an open class on drama and I gave a speech on ‘Primary and Secondary School Drama Curriculum Based on Educational Drama’ for the teachers. We have been working hard in school for the past three years, but now we need to go out and communicate with more colleagues.

还是这个月，我又去了一趟浙江省瑞安市桐浦镇中心小学，这是我受致朴公益基金会委托长期进行戏剧教育支持的乡村学校。学校老师们在天府七中跟岗学习之后，回到自己的课堂也进行了教学实践。对于能够有机会深度参与到乡村学校教育支持里来，我是非常欢欣鼓舞的，这里也是戏剧教育的沃土。

This month, I visited Tongpu Town Central Primary School in Ruian City, Zhejiang Province, a rural school that I have been commissioned by the ZhiPu Public Welfare Foundation to support for a long period of time in drama education. Teachers from the school were able to practice teaching in their own classrooms after learning from Tianfu No.7 High School. I am very happy to have the opportunity to be deeply involved in supporting education in rural schools, which is also a fertile ground for drama education.

4月底，我受邀为杭州市建新小学和杭州市新华实验小学做《以戏剧教育构建无边界课程》主题培训。

At the end of April, I was invited to do a training on the theme of ‘Building a Borderless Curriculum with Drama Education’ for Jianxin Primary School in Hangzhou and Xinhua Experimental Primary School in Hangzhou.

5月就在忙碌地上课中度过，我们完成了《伊卡洛斯之翼》《大禹治水》《项链》《暴风雨》的创作，音乐和美术参加区里的磨课展示课，文理学院的学生们完成了木偶剧单元和童话单元的学习。

The month of May was spent busy with classes, as we completed Wings of Icarus, Yu the Great Ruling the Water, The Necklace, and The Tempest, our music team and fine arts team participated in the district's demonstration classes, and my students in Chengdu College of Arts and Sciences completed a puppet theatre unit and a fairy tale unit.

5月中，我们迎来了两位国际朋友，一位是国际戏剧教育协会主席Sanja，一位是希腊戏剧导演和戏剧教育家Georgina，她们在东盟艺术学院分别做了演讲和工作坊，然后来到了天府七中，走进我们的戏剧课堂，成为天府七中戏剧教育的学术顾问和客座导师。

In mid-May, we welcomed two international friends, Sanja, President of the International Drama/theatre and Education Association (IDEA), and Georgina, a Greek theatre director and theatre educator, who gave speeches and workshops at the College of Chinese and ASEAN Arts, Chengdu University and then came to Tianfu No.7 High School to enter our drama classes as academic advisors and guest mentors for drama education in Tianfu No.7 High School.

天府七中的戏剧教育成果也受到中央戏剧学院的肯定，双方正式签订戏剧教育实习基地合作协议。

The drama education achievements of Tianfu No.7 High School were also recognized by the Central Academy of Drama, and the university and the school formally signed a cooperation agreement on drama education internship bases.

5月下旬，天府七中的孩子们和老师一起，受邀参加成都市“欧洲文化季”希腊展开幕式，演出古希腊音乐舞蹈。希腊驻华大使卡尔佩斯博士对孩子们的演出称赞不已。

In late May, children from Tianfu No.7 High School, together with their teachers, were invited to participate in the opening ceremony of the Greek Exhibition of the ‘European Cultural Season’ in Chengdu, where they performed ancient Greek music and dance. The Ambassador of Greece in China, Dr Evgenios Kalpyris, praised the children's performance.

5月底，第三届执仁有戏戏剧节正式拉开帷幕。这是我总策划总导演的第三届戏剧节，每一届都是对前一届的颠覆，每一届都争取能让学生更自主。

At the end of May, the third Zairean Theatre Festival started. This is the third edition of the festival that I have masterminded and directed. Each edition is a reversal of the previous one, and each one strives to give students more autonomy.

6月初，经过几年的合作，天府七中正式与A4美术馆成为馆校战略合作伙伴。三年前刚来到天府新区，就被A4举办的iSTART儿童艺术节所吸引，此后每一年我带着团队越来越深入参与其中。

At the beginning of June, after several years of co-operation, Tianfu No.7 High School officially became a strategic partner of the museum and school with A4 Art Museum. When I first came to Tianfu New District three years ago, I was attracted by the iSTART Children's Art Festival organised by A4, and every year since then I have been more and more involved in it with my team.

6月中，《你好成都》发表了对我的采访，以戏剧守护童心。

In mid-June, Hello Chengdu published an interview with me on guarding children's hearts with drama.

6月底成都文理学院的学生们完成了本学期教育戏剧专业课的学习和期末考试，结合这两学期的学习设计了自己的第一份教育戏剧教案，并完成了课堂教学实践展示。

At the end of June the students from Chengdu College of Arts and Sciences completed their studies and final exams for this semester's major course in Drama in Education, designed their first Drama in Education lesson plans in conjunction with the two semesters of study, and completed a practical demonstration of their classroom teaching.

受阳光未来艺术教育基金会和A4美术馆委托，我们为青海省25名艺术老师安排了戏剧课堂观摩，并为老师们做了戏剧教育工作坊。

Commissioned by the Sun Future Art Education Foundation and A4 Art Museum, we arranged a drama classroom observation for 25 art teachers in Qinghai Province and a drama education workshop for the teachers.

6月的倒数第二天，天府七中小学部执仁剧团最新作品《大禹治水》《伊卡洛斯之翼》参加2024成都儿童舞台艺术精品展演，一群小朋友演的戏剧，让成年人哭得泪花花。

On the penultimate day of June, Tianfu No.7 High School's Zhiren Theatre Group's latest production, Yu the Great Ruling the Waters and Icarus’ Wings, took part in the 2024 Chengdu Children's Stage Art Excellence Exhibition, where a group of children acted in a play that brought tears to the eyes of adults.

6月的最后一天，天七戏剧家长社群的第一部戏剧作品儿童剧《木偶奇遇记》首演成功。这是第一次家长们表演给孩子们看。

The last day of June saw the successful premiere of Pinocchio, the first theatre production of the Theatre Parents' Community’s children's play. It was the first time parents performed for their children.

7月初，我们第三年为麓湖社区做戏剧工作坊，延续去年瓶子环保主题，不过今年有更精彩的故事、更丰富的偶、更精彩的场地——荒野之国，孩子们在7天内创作环境木偶剧《最后的荒野之国》。

In early July, for the third year, we made a theatre workshop for the Luxelake community, continuing last year's environmental theme, but this year with a better story, richer puppets, and a better venue - the Wilderness Country, where the children created an environmental puppet show, The Last Wilderness Country, in seven days.

7月中，受成都市妇女联合会和妇女儿童中心的邀请，执仁剧团和天七戏剧社在成都市儿童戏剧季演出喜剧《王成》、先锋戏剧《项链》和音乐剧《暴风雨》。

In mid-July, invited by the Chengdu Women's Federation and the Women and Children's Centre, Zhiren Theatre Group and the Tianqi Theatre Group performed the comedy Wang Cheng, the pioneering play The Necklace, and the musical The Tempest in the Chengdu Children's Theatre Season.

应致朴公益基金会邀请，我在暑期里来到浙江省衢州市龙游县溪口镇，为来自浙江各地二十多名乡村教师和校长们在2024美好教师成长营做戏剧工作坊。

At the invitation of Zhipu Public Welfare Foundation, I went to Xikou Town, Longyou County, Quzhou City, Zhejiang Province, in the summer to make a theatre workshop for more than 20 rural teachers and headmasters from all over Zhejiang at the 2024 Wonderful Teachers' Growth Camp.

从浙江我直接到了北京，参加国际戏剧教育协会（IDEA）的理事大会，除了商谈协会的各项事宜，这次也进行了换届选举，我很荣幸当选为新一届执行委员会委员和项目总监。

From Zhejiang, I went straight to Beijing to attend the IDEA General Council Meeting. In addition to discussing IDEA matters, there was also an election, and I was honoured to be elected as Director of Projects.

同时，这次的大会上，天府七中获得杰出戏剧教育管理者荣誉，袁老师获得杰出教师荣誉，我为老师们作了《中小学戏剧教育实践与探索》的报告。

Meanwhile, at this conference, Tianfu No.7 High School was awarded the honour of Outstanding Drama Education Administrator, and Eley Yuan was awarded the honor of Outstanding Drama Teacher. I presented a report on ‘Practice and Exploration of Drama Education in Primary and Secondary Schools’ for the teachers.

暑假里，我在希腊见了很多朋友，看了十多场戏剧演出。

Over the summer, I met a lot of friends in Greece and watched a dozen theatre performances.

回到成都，8月底，受A4美术馆的邀请，我在2024iSTART教育论坛为老师们带来教育戏剧主题的戏剧化学习工作坊，从身体、想象和空间三个维度，带老师们深入体验教育戏剧。

Back in Chengdu, at the end of August, I was invited by A4 Art Museum to present a Dramatised Learning Workshop on the theme of Educational Theatre at the 2024 iSTART Education Forum, taking teachers on an in-depth experience of Educational Theatre from the three dimensions of body, imagination and space.

新学期开学，我们正式启动剧团招新选拔。在中学部，60名同学报名，最终15名同学通过选拔正式加入天七戏剧社。

At the beginning of the new semester, we officially launched the recruitment and selection of the theatre group. In the secondary section, 60 students applied and finally 15 students passed the audition to join Tianqi Theatre Group.

九月初万象更新，代表执仁艺术团队发布了艺术学研室规划，包括音乐、美术、舞蹈和戏剧四个学科本学期的工作计划，开启本学期艺术课堂质量提升计划。

At the beginning of September, on behalf of the Zhiren arts education team, we released the Arts education plan, including the work plan of the four disciplines: Music, Fine Art, Dance and Drama for this semester, and started the Arts Classroom Quality Improvement Plan for this semester.

教师节，与戏剧组三位美少女喜结师徒缘分，开始以师徒制培养戏剧老师。

On Teachers' Day, we tied the knot with three young teachers in the Drama Team and started to train drama teachers under the apprenticeship system.

9月中，受四川电视台邀请，带着剧团的孩子们到电视台录制国庆特别节目。

In mid-September, we were invited by Sichuan TV to take the children of the theatre group to the TV station to record a special programme for the National Day.

9月下旬，我们在麓湖社区的渔获节，带暑假里参加戏剧工作坊的孩子们参加了巡游演出。

In late September, we took the children who participated in theatre workshops during the summer holidays to perform in a parade at the Fishing Festival in the Luxelake community.

10月中，受乡村儿童美育网络邀请，在线上美育沙龙围绕主题《传统文化如何发挥美育价值》进行对谈。

In mid-October, we were invited by the Rural Children's Aesthetic Education Network to have a dialogue in the online Aesthetic Education Salon around the theme of ‘How traditional culture can be of value in aesthetic education’.

10月下旬，新西兰的中小学校长们来到天府七中，我为他们介绍了学校的戏剧课程，约定未来的合作。

In late October, primary and secondary school headmasters from New Zealand came to Tianfu No.7 High School, and I introduced the school's drama programme to them, agreeing on future cooperation.

我第三次来到浙江瑞安桐浦镇中心小学，这一学期，桐浦小学三到六年级在语文学科共读一本书的基础上，全面开展戏剧课程，这一次来到学校，为老师们带来了戏剧教育的系统培训。

My third visit to Tongpu Town Central Primary School in Rui'an, Zhejiang Province. This semester, grades 3 to 6 of Tongpu Primary School launched a comprehensive drama curriculum based on reading a book together in the language subject, and this time I came to the school to bring systematic training in drama education to the teachers.

11月初，34名来自浙江、福建、青海和内蒙古的乡村老师们走进天府七中戏剧课堂跟岗学习，分别由浙江致朴公益基金会和阳光阳光未来艺术教育基金会支持。三天里，老师们全方位地感受了天七戏剧：六堂必修课、一堂选修课、三个剧目的排练、一次工作坊、三次研讨。

At the beginning of November, 34 rural teachers from Zhejiang, Fujian, Qinghai and Inner Mongolia came into the drama classroom of Tianfu No.7 High School to follow the study, supported by Zhejiang Zhipu Public Welfare Foundation and Sunshine Future Art Education Foundation respectively. During the three days, the teachers experienced Tianfu No.7 High School’s drama education in all aspects: six compulsory classes, one elective class, rehearsals for three plays, a workshop and three seminars.

11月中，我们带着学生剧团第二次来到大凉山戏剧节，天七戏剧社和执仁剧团圆满演出肢体戏剧《伊卡洛斯之翼》、影偶剧《大禹治水》和先锋戏剧《项链》。

In mid-November, we brought our students’ theatre group to the Daliangshan Theatre Festival for the second time. Tianqi Theatre Group and Zhiren Theatre Group successfully performed the physical theatre ‘Wings of Icarus’, the shadow puppet play ‘Yu the Great Ruling the Waters’, and the pioneering theatre ‘The Necklace’.

受高新中演大剧院的邀请，我带孩子们去与“世界四大音乐剧”之一 《剧院魅影》中饰演男主角“魅影”的国际音乐剧巨星布拉德·里特尔面对面。

At the invitation of the Gaoxin Zhongyan Theatre, I took the children to meet Brad Little, the international musical star who plays the Phantom of the Opera, one of the ‘Four Great Musicals of the World’.

11月下旬，跟随天府七中团队在厦门参加中国教育创新大会。

In late November, I attended the China Education Innovation Conference in Xiamen with a team from the Tianfu No.7 High School.

12月初，缘于几个月前的一次吃饭时聊出来的想法，我们联合国内七家公益基金会，在天府七中举办“通过戏剧的儿童美育”研讨会，来自全国各地一百多名老师相聚一堂，探讨交流戏剧教育。

In early December, as a result of an idea that came out of a dinner conversation a few months earlier, we hosted a seminar on ‘Children's Aesthetic Education through Drama’ at Tianfu No. 7 High School, where more than a hundred teachers from all over the country met to discuss and exchange ideas on drama education.

在研讨会上，我为老师们展示了戏剧教育公开课《山海经·冉遗鱼》。

In the seminar, I presented the drama education open class ‘Classics of Mountains and Seas - Ran Legacy Fish’ to the teachers.

12月中，受四川省教育学会舞蹈与戏剧教育专委会邀请，我在学术年会上作《以教育戏剧为基础建设和普及中小学戏剧课程的实践分享》主题报告。

In mid-December, invited by the Dance and Drama Education Committee of Sichuan Education Society, I made a theme report on ‘Sharing the Practice of Building and Popularising Primary and Secondary School Drama Curriculum on the Basis of Drama in Education’ at the annual academic meeting.

受成都市青少年宫邀请，我为青少年宫三十多位老师做了戏剧教育师资培训工作坊。

Invited by Chengdu Youth Palace, I did a drama education teacher training workshop for more than 30 teachers from the Youth Palace of Chengdu.

这学期又为新的一届也就是2023届小学教育系开始上教育戏剧专业课，目前授课班级达到了4个班120名左右的学生。

In this semester, I started to teach drama in education for the new class of 2023 in the Department of Elementary Education in Chengdu College of Arts and Sciences, and the number of students whom I’m teaching in this university has reached about 120 students in 4 classes.

12月底，在东盟艺术学院的《跨文化戏剧课》随着戏剧作品《南柯一梦》的完成而结课。

At the end of December, the Intercultural Theatre Course at the College of Chinese and ASEAN Arts ended with the completion of the theatre production ‘A Dream of Nanke’.

2025年1月，四川省武术协会青城武术传承发展工作委员会成立，我在天府七中小学部开设青城武术选修课已经第三个学期，因此天府七中成为首批国家非遗青城武术传承发展基地。

In January 2025, the Qingcheng Martial Arts Inheritance Development Working Committee of the Sichuan Marital Arts Association was established, and I was in my third semester of offering the Qingcheng Martial Arts elective course at the Primary Section of the Tianfu No.7 High School, thus making Tianfu No.7 High School one of the first national non-heritage Qingcheng Martial Arts inheritance development bases.

1月中，我和袁老师受臻爱公益基金会邀请，到北京参加戏剧教育火种导师公益冬令营。

In mid-January, Eley Yuan and I were invited by the Zhen'ai Public Welfare Foundation to attend the Drama Education Spark Mentor Public Welfare Winter Camp in Beijing.

1月底，我收到了上海教育出版社寄来的样书，《校园有戏——中小学戏剧教育实践指南》终于付梓。

At the end of January, I received a sample book from Shanghai Education Press, and ‘Theatre Fostering on Campus - A Practical Guide to Drama Education in Primary and Secondary Schools’ finally went to print.

现在，经过长途跋涉，我们终于到达冰岛，即将开启为冰岛中小学老师们举办的戏剧教育工作坊。

Now, after a long journey, we have finally arrived in Iceland and are about to start the drama education workshop for Icelandic primary and secondary school teachers.

旧岁已除，万象更新。期待新的一年，继续玩开心🥳
