In 2022, the Ministry of Education, China issued a new version of the art curriculum standard for compulsory education, and for the first time, drama was listed as an independent subject. Against the background of the times when drama education is highly valued and widely concerned, Tianfu No. 7 High School has innovatively made drama education as a compulsory course, constructed the integrated art curriculum based on drama in education, and promoted a deep change in the fusion of art education and interdisciplinarity.
In order to better popularise and disseminate the new concepts and achievements of drama education, to strengthen the exchange and cooperation of drama education curriculum construction among primary and secondary schools, and to promote the popularisation and development of primary and secondary school drama education, Drama Education Research Centre of Tianfu No.7 High School will hold the first Drama Education Forum on 25th -27th November.

About Drama Education Research Center of Tianfu No.7 High School
The Drama Education Research Center of Tianfu No.7 High School is established based on the innovative compulsory drama course provided to all the students of the school, with the aim of thoroughly implementing the national arts education policy, practising the concept of new curriculum standards, promoting the development of drama education in primary and secondary schools, building a high-level drama education research team, conducting high-level drama education research, carrying out high-level domestic and international drama education exchange and cooperation, and promoting the 12-year consistent drama education curriculum construction.
The Drama Education Research Centre is under the leadership of the Academic Committee of Tianfu No.7 High School and headed by Miao Bin. Members of the Research Centre consist of drama teachers from Tianfu No.7 High School and the teachers from other disciplines who are involved in related research projects. As defined by the scope of research, the Research Centre has project groups for curriculum construction, academic research, community service and communications.
